Bandi is a year old in this picture. In our opinion, a caique is the perfect companion parrot. She is a little of everything rolled into one. She can be cuddly, playful, independent, dependent, beaky, stubborn, curious, adventurous, acrobatic, funny, sweet, has a great appetite, and loves people. She is wonderful yet challenging! Caiques can easily get into trouble due to their immense curiosity ,so a watchful eye should be kept on them at all times during out of cage time. (This is not an exaggeration!!) Caiques can be difficult, so lots of research should be done prior to bringing baby /new fid home, and consistent loving guidance once they are with you is a must. Caiques are very unique and full of surprises!! We love our little sweet Bandita clown!!" Lin and Mat
